Roo or hen?

chickens are about 3 months or a little older. They look alike. One is attempting to crow the other is not. One has been crowing for several weeks.

One on the left in the double pic does not crow. The single pics are the one that does not crow.

I'm no expert, but they both look like cockerels to me. The barring makes me think they aren't black marans. Could they be silver cuckoo? Whatever they are, they sure are handsome fellows. It'll be interesting to see how they mature!


I believe we actually ordered a Cuckoo Maran. I don’t know the difference. Lol but appears we have two of them.
