Red Sexlink Cockerel, The hens and roosters of this breed are totally different from each other

Well tractor supply definitely doesn't know what they are doing.. my son picked him out of a gauranteed pullet box.. obviously not a hen lol.

Cockerel, See notes and picture below. Probably a sex link, definitely mixed breed. I've had sex links with varying degrees of white to yellow/gold.
A. You can see the pointed saddle feathers
B. Red coloring on shoulders is a male trait
C. Large red wattles and comb (compare to pullet behind him) and you can see the pointed hackle feathers

Tractor supply is notorious for mixing up chicks. They are only as good as the employees working there, and most are not chicken people and just don't care. A chicken is a chicken to them. You are not the first, nor the last, that this will happen to.
