I know, I know, you have seen this post from others. But when we went to get chicks I wanted EE because of the blue eggs and I had heard orpingtons were very docile (they have not disappointed). However, when we went to the store they were only straight run. So we took the gamble and got 2 ee and 2 orpingtons. Well here they are about 5 weeks later.

Any guess as to hen or roo???

Thanks a bunch.

Orpington #2 is a cockeral.
EE #2 definitely a cockeral.
EE #1 probably hen, but a little suspicious about the comb
Orp #1 is a hen

I’m going to guess cockerel. And that’s just a guess. The comb is pretty pink at this point. I added a pic of my EE hen when she was roughly 11 weeks (a bit older than yours) and you can see there’s no comb color.
Yes my other EE has a smaller comb and it is not punk at all
