Does anyone know if this little sweetie is a Roo or Pullet?? And what breed?? He or She isa rare breed extra from mcmurray!! This Chick does not look like any of the other 25 I received. So I believe it is the rare breed???
legs seem rather stocky which makes me think roo, but I'm not really sure. I say give it more time, it's easier to tell at about 6 weeks.
It is feathering in like my chick that might be a brown leghorn? I am not positive that mine is a brown leghorn but when I posted pictures of her on here that was one of the guesses and when I looked at other pictures of brown leghorn chicks that seemed to match up. Another possible guess since she is a rare breed chick would be Welsummer maybe? I am not sure how rare Brown Leghorns are but I know that the Welsummers are supposed to be more rare.
