This is my chicken that was born 03/02/2025. It is 12 weeks old and an English Orpington. Is it a roo?

Also, we live in a neighborhood in Murfreesboro, TN and can not have roosters. Any suggestions of what I do with it, if it is a roo? We love this chicken and have babied it all along. I’ve already posted about it on a Facebook middle TN chicken group without responses.

I’m also in that Facebook group and have had success rehoming. My advise is to take great pictures and be very descriptive. I included a successful post I’ve made and you can look through others with varying success. I wouldn’t say spamming is smart but definitely be persistent. I’ve also had more luck after letting them mature so he’s more visually appealing. You’re probably throwing people off calling him an English Orpington because he’s not one. I’m seeing yellow skin in these pictures and his type is very off. Where is he from?

Thank you so much for this information. I was told by the breeder that it’s an English Orpington. I’ll have to find out what breed it or he is. 🤪
