Hi, new here! I am unsure on this chicken. Supposedly supposed to be a Blue Ameracauna, but when we got the chicks, we ended up with a Splash Ameracauna and this one. The Splash turned out to be a Rooster. I have not heard this one crow, but also not seen any eggs either.

Very much a rooster. The pointed hackle feathers and pointed tail feathers make this evident.
Not to mention the tree trucks it's standing on. Those legs are huge.

Yes, definitely male. But definitely not an ameraucana. Ameraucana are supposed to have pea combs, beards, and muffs (fluffy cheeks). Your boy has a single comb and no beard or muffs. Looks like a lavender orpington to me.

Agreed on this.
Yes. He either isn't crowing much or you might mistake him for the others. My older two roosters crow a lot and my youngest has yet to crow consistently.

The farm store where we got them told us they were hens (blue ameracauna) and the only rooster we were supposed to have was a buff orpington. Out of the 5 chicks we got, now 3 are roosters... So in total we have 6 hens and 3 roos. The one above I've never seen go after the hens as well as being quiet.
