Roo or Hen?

I was speaking of the one with the small comb front center & doesn't have any hackle feathers/those long stringy feathers around the neck:lol:

by the way...i'm going to have one of those roos for dinner tonight! Just waiting for my son to come home and do the honors of draining the blood from it's neck! lol I want a hen! not a cackle doodle doO!

I suppose if you want to be sure it's a roo, separate it from the main flock and see if it crows after a while. That's a very red comb for a hen and I'm pretty sure it is a roo, though I suppose if you're not seeing any saddle or hackle feathers you might have a chance...
