roo or hen?

this chicken is 17 weeks old and has not crowed yet.......

it has a huge comb but i dont see any saddle feathers...

i was convinced it was a rooster but since it has not crowed it has no heel spurs etc etc I am wondering..maybe some of you experienced chicken people will know .......and what breed is it???

My Silver-laced Wyandotte pullets are 24 weeks and they have combs and wattles the same size as your bird. Not sure of gender since I don't know the breed. I've been told roos don't start getting spurs until they are about a year old.

Looks like a POL pullet to me. Not sure what breed though.

looks like a hen to me.... comb sizes can be different just like boobie sizes on humans.

one of my RIR's has a huge comb...

i am not sure on this one, sure looks rooish in the face, lot of comb for a pullet at that age. but surprised it hasn't crowed.
