Roo or hen?

Meet Elsa? We were hoping it would be a girl, but the tail feathers make me wonder. "Elsa" is a buff orpington/sussex cross. "She" is 9 weeks old.

Elsa has a very small single comb and isn't showing any signs of being a cockerel so I wouldn't worry

Looks like a pullet. Here's a picture so you can see the difference.
This Silver laced Wyandotte cockerel was around 9 weeks old when this picture was taken.

Buff roo over silver sussex cross should be sex linked I think? Silver daughters, gold sons.

In any case Elsa is very much a pullet.

Thanks! I should have put that the other way around I guess, daddy is a sussex, momma is a buff orpington. Elsa has turned out so pretty though!
