I suspected Golden Cuckoos were not autosexing but didn't know enough to be sure.
I know nothing about Bielefelders but from what you say, it sounds like a better fit. I assume they would be brown eggs?

Thanks everyone! I have Cream Crested Legbars and Bielefelders in my flock, so I am very familiar with those breeds. The Golden Cuckoo Marans was ordered out of curiosity more than anything else. s Papa's Poultry clams that they are autosexing, but don't say exactly how. Lesson learned about buying from hatcheries that make such claims...

I have been looking online and haven't found any real information about the Breed Standard. Oh well.

I am seeing some ridiculous "breeds" being offered for sale these days.

Just checked their site. Looks like he's one of the Auto sexing Olive Eggers. Your Marans should have white skin and feathered legs.

You and me, both!!! I separated the eggs into Marans and Olive Eggers when I put them into lockdown...

I have covers that prevent that from happening. So frustrating not knowing what he/she is!
