Hi everybody I would like some help trying to find out if my beautiful Easter egger is a roo. I think he/she is around 8 weeks old now and I bought him straight run at tsc hoping for a roo. I got him a week (almost two) after my other ee and his come is much bigger, his red feathering is also a bit darker too but other than that they look very similar. No sign of wattles that I can tell but it’s hard with the tufts. Any advice on if I have a roo or if I’m just wishful thinking?

the first pic is both with the one in question on the left, the next three are my suspected roo and the last pic is my pullet for comparison.... sorry he/she is very camera shy

I agree! The one in question is a cockerel. It's neat you managed to get a pair of Easter Eggers that look so similar! They usually vary quite a bit! They'll be a nice looking pair
I know I was quite surprised that they turned out matching since I got them at separate times and didn’t look the same as chicks one was yellow the other grey

Cock. Also most easter egger roos I've seen never developed wattles that were really visible.
