Hi all! I am so excited to have found this group. I’m new to chickens and purchased five poulets in the middle of September. We have a buff Orpington, Lavender Orpington, Easter Egger, Olive Eggar and a Cuckoo Maran. They are now 11 and 12 weeks old and today my husband and I heard what seemed to be a fairly clear first attempt at a crow…. So I’m wondering if your expert eyes might help us find out which one, or if it’s none?. 😀.

We’ve had suspicions about the Cockoo Maran. It has developed a comb and waddles much more quickly than the others, is larger and seems a bit bossy. But I was also a little curious about the olive egger. Here are a few pictures of the chicks:
