So this is my chicken Tori, she/he is 7 months and 2 weeks old. Before a little over a week ago I thought she was a hen, but her feathers started changing. Her/his tail got droopy and she/he got much darker and she/he has also started crowing. I should also mention that she/he is very hot all the time. She/he gets so hot that she/he doesnt like to roost to close to other chickens. I was told by another chicken keeper that its possible that I have a hen with weird hormone issues. I'm not sure.
TL/DR
Could she/he be just a really late blooming roo or is she a hen with health issues I should be worried about.
