I spent nearly 2 months trying to get a rooster to accept me. Locked him up in his own little coop and run. Fed and watered him twice a day so he would know I was the bringing of good things. Finally wished for the best and let him out. Next day he attacked again. He went to freezer camp the very same day.

If you have children do not take the chance. The children could be seriously injured by the spurs of a rooster.

Bad roosters have reuined the chicken expierance for many people.
Children have been attacked and injured and never lost their fear of chickens.
Dont let this happen to you.
Dispatch him, eat him, whatever....there are lots of good resectful roosters out there, no reason to keep a bad actor.
I dispatched my last rooster because he started brutally attacking 2 hens he did not prefer. I would not stand for it and he became coyote bait.
The rooster i have now i found on craigslist. He is unhandled and affraid of humans and keeps a respectful distance. He is good to all the hens. He is just starting to grow his spurs. When they get long enough to do damage i will still go out after dark and clip them down.
This will help him not to inadvertantly injure my hens during mating, And reinforce that yes, i am not to be messed with. No tollerance for rooster agression here.
