I have been pouring over this site for weeks and now I must just ask the experts. Is this sweet little (7 1/2 week old) Brahma a bossy hen in the making or a little laddie?

I'm not a good guesser but, for others to give an opinion they need photos of front head - area where comb is or will be.

Thank you all so much for the VERY warm welcome to BYC! I am an adoptive mother of 8 children, and I don't think I fretted over that flock nearly as much as I have been over my little feathered flock. Goodness! So, as far as I know, I have three Brahmas, two Buff Orpingtons, one Austrolorp, two Americauna's, and just added two straight run Frizzles and two straight run Silkies. as I mentioned in my first posting, I have been pouring over this site for weeks (since I became a chicken lady, actually) so I totally expect that we could end up with a roo or two of the straight run cuties. But, as it is apparently in my nature to be paranoid about something regarding my flock at all times, I am currently wondering about one of the bossy little Brahmas. Since no one is actually crowing yet, I know I should just calm down and wait till nature plays me her (or his) song. In the meantime, I have posted my query on the thread suggested by redsox.

Again, thanks again for your warm welcome and sweet responses to my night-time worries. I feel like I am in good hands with this group!

A picture of the front of Brahma in question.

Shy but super sweet little Austrolorp.
