Roo to Hen Ratio with Mixed Breeds

I have 3 roosters and 27 hens. Minimal fighting, but 2 are the sons of a 1.5 yr old Dominique. The hens fight back more than the cocks fight. The pop has definitely got the upper hand.Dad had for sure worn out a half dozen girls, leaving minimal feathers on a couple favs. The young ones have no clue, nor gained loyalty and are de-feathering some unwilling girls heads. Space seems to be key as they have 20,000 sq. Ft. of free range to alleviate the damage. Plenty of running room. The buff orp -Dom cross is aggressive and learning at 15 months. He is a very pretty cross. He is much like any young rooster, learning the trade and finding his place in the flock. . It seems that 3 to 27 is not at all detrimental to the flock. The more eyes the better for hawk patrol.
