Roo turned bully

With such a roo to hen ratio, you definitely want to keep them separate. Would be good to get a few more hens for each of the roos as well.

I ended up removing my 2 black and white roos. They are now in with my 2 old hens. I didn't know how many hens and roos I had. I hatched these guys out and I can't tell a difference in them til they are much bigger. But everyone seems to be happy and healthy and most importantly getting along. Pictured below is Bowser one of my trouble makers.

Multiple roosters work together...until they don't. Generally you need to make changes - which you did. I would not expect it ever to go back. That is how roosters are.

I am rather amazed that you got it to work as long as it did.

Yeah I was hoping they could have all lived together in one coop at least til warm weather. That way I didn't have to make so many trips! Ha! But boys will be boys I guess. Below is my roo Luigi, my sister says he reminds her of a Muppet.

Idk why but I haven't seen many roos that look like him. I've seen plenty of the white crested black polish roos (I have 2) but absolutely none of a golden polish.. He came from my first ever hatch and he knows his name too.

Are all your birds under a year old? Your Cockerels are maturing and want to be in charge of the girls. As the weather warms be on the lookout for other boys to want to fight for position. If you do not have space for roosters to runaway from each other be prepared to separate all the boys.

Yes. I had 4 hatches last year. I still haven't introduced my last 6 to others. Weather didn't cooperate with me there. Plus 2 of them are turkens and I worry about them getting pecked. I have one more coop I plan to build this spring. Everyone will be divided evenly I'll have a """coopdavision"""" instead of a subdivision my first hatch was mother's day last year so not quite a year
