You can splint the wing, but you'll have to be able to catch him first. If he charged a person it may be in yours and his best interests to have him put down, but that's a different thread. Can you post a picture of his wing? "Messed up feathers" doesn't really have much to do with broken bones, but I may be misunderstanding. Do you mean that he is in too much pain to preen and "fix" his feathers? I hope your rooster improves! Good luck. :)

Thank you! He only charges men. He treats the ladies like hi hens. Really sweet to girls. He always charges men. Do you possibly know how to tell if his wing is broken?

Well, if you can catch him, then you can gently feel his entire wing for breaks or tender areas. It's hard to be 100% sure though. Good luck!

What does a break feel like? I'm sorry if I'm being complicated. I've never broken a bone or felt one so I'm not sure.

You aren't being complicated at all! I should have elaborated. You should be able to tell when you run your hand over it. The rooster will show extreme pain/discomfort and you should be able to gently feel where the bone is broken. You'll know if it is. :)
