This is my 5 week old Welsummer that’s starting to consern me. I have another welsummer that’s the same age with no wattle growth. When they were purchased both were labeled pullets.

They are no 6 weeks old and he/ she has a much darker red waddle and the other with still no comb/waddle growth.

I'd be concerned too! Looks like a possible male.

Out Welsummer chicks are 6 weeks old, and we took some pics a couple of days ago. Here are our three sexed females - and we think they are all female. There is some comb growth, and a touch of color, but no wattle growth. And all three look pretty similar.

That picture was taken around a week ago so they are 6 weeks now and he/she comb and wattle is much darker and bigger than you pullets so I’m gonna say rooster. Thanks for the help!
