Roo?

I don’t know… this one has me confused

What kind of sounds does she/he make? Roos are more chattery - short chucking/purring sounds, or will make that bock, bock-bock, bock-BOCK-bock-bock-bock! alert noise, only once, if they notice something alarming. Hens will ‘chickenwaul’ (more drawn out, complainy singing - fa-fa-fa-faaaaaa-fa-fa-fa! when they are laying or getting close to laying an egg). Sorry about my weird explanation via onomatopoeia, but hopefully it makes some sort of sense .

Still no crowing from this one. Still acts like a hen but looks more roo to me. Isn’t 30-something weeks quite long to wait for a crow?

He's a cockerel. Sometimes boys take awhile, especially if he's overshadowed by a more dominant rooster
