Roo?

I feel fairly certain this is a Roo, but... something seems questionable!

He has saddle feathers visible, but no visible hackle feathers...though that could just be his colouring hiding them. This back shape is very hen-like. Comb development was early, but... is now same as his other hatchmates. Legs seem roostery...

hes a mishmash of breeds, but some Faverolle coming through in the neck/face/legs.

Thoughts?
