Hello everyone, I am very new to the chicken world, have had mine for 3 weeks now. RIR, Wyandotte, and Black Astraloup. I think my black astraloup is a roo starting making a crying sound today . Can anybody tell me if I am right. Also they seem to huddleand sit alot is this normal especially the black astraloup.

Black Australorps like to cuddle/huddle with other chickens...it's in their nature. Very loving birds. As for whether it's a roo or not, you will have to post us a picture so we can tell.....
