Oh, I got it. At first i thought 9.75 refered to Base of the coop but I see now that's length of roof. Thank you!!

In the US lumber comes in multiples of 4 feet.

I don't like to be the America-centric egotist who assumes that all countries do things the same way and I know you use metric so I didn't know if your lumber comes in multiples of 4 feet or multiples of a meter or what.

Ah, gotcha.
For measuring length, height and weight, we generally use imperial. Don't ask me why.
