Roof on a dog kennel run

This is what I did for my 6 foot high 10 foot long dog run panel pens to support the hardware wire roofs covered with shade cloth.
The panels of the pens are connected with these pipe clamps.

To support the hardware wire, I used PVC pipe the same diameter as the panel pipe.
These were connected to the top pipe using connectors that look like these.
While my tops are flat, a steel fence pipe could be used to run a peak
Did you have a picture to attach?

Do you think it will be strong enough if we add extra vertical lengths of post in the fence panels?
My vertical pipes are five feet apart.

I went back to edit and added photos and additional comments.
I'll take and post more detail pictures in the morning. It has rained all day.

Build it better than you think is necessary!
Go to your county building code, at least, for advice. Snow load is not something to mess with, and being out there in a blizzard at 2am isn't going to be fun.
Consider doing a very good structure over a section of your run, so you can do it right, and enclose it during bad weather. Your big run will be very expensive to manage at one time.
How about a pole barn structure?

Good point on being on in a blizzard in the middle of the night lol. The run is already in place. Trying to figure out how to post a pic. Running to menards for materials tonight. Only 24 degrees here already this morning. Good grief where did the summer go.

While my tops are flat, a steel fence pipe could be used to run a peak line and lengths can be cut to make your "rafters"

I purchased all my hardware ... Clamps in the fencing section of my Ace Hardware store. They also had the lengths of pipe.
Those T's are hard to find around here. Might have to get se from Amazon. Thanks for tbe visual.

Those pipe clamps will only be strong enough to hold up wire or net. There is no way they will support solid roof panels.

No... it is the posts themselves...

A post to hold up a roof should be at least a 4x4 if not a 6x6, and 3+ feet into the ground. You need something strong.
