roof suggestions? for a novice builder

Very cool. Thanks for sharing your pics. What did you use to seal the plexiglass? Some kind of caulk maybe? I made my first pallet creation the other day. Was rather proud of myself. This is made by cutting a 9 slat pallet into three pieces.

I found a tutorial for a strawberry planter out of a pallet on youtube. It worked great! Love a good freebie!

i just got some silicone sealant. would have liked to have ordered this stuff specieficly for plexi glass that actually melts wherever you put it and then binds the plexiglass pieces together. they say the hold created is stronger than the plexi glass itself . but na the silicone worked okay. i just made this for my lil 3 week olds to move into. its been so nice i think they can stay outside as long as it stays above 60 at night

not done but this was one pallet. got a couple peices left over but there broken...i suck at taking pallets apart...

Taking the pallet apart was so difficult. I think I need some kind of wedge or wide chisel to do it easier. I felt like I was going to hurt myself.

If it makes you feel any better I broke a hammer. Ya gotta use an actual crobar. And if you get a pallet with those long staples in it!!!! Forget it lol!

Nice legs.

The screws worked well. Had a hard time with the ones along the overlapping ridge. They wouldn't catch the wood underneath.
