I've decided to copy the Raised Center Aisle horse barn style of roof. I think it's also called Monitor style and is like a cupola that extends the entire length of the coop. I decided on this for the excellent ventilation it provides. I will utilize slide in inserts in the winter to close it up.
I'd like to build the roof in trusses but haven't found a good plan for them for this style. Anyone got an idea?
I'm thinking something like this, but the pitch will not be this steep....more like 6-12.
