Roofing Options for Run

We’ve had pretty good weather for the better part of the last 4 months, but rain season is upon us in the PNW. Looking to add some type of roof to the run before it starts getting bad. Anyone have any suggestions? We use sand as flooring in the run. Pictures of the coop and run attached.

A tarp from the hardware store. Use a sewing machine to fold over the middle and tack down so it isn't too wide. It will have grommets. Use the grommets and tent pegs to hold down the side by the fence. Use something for posts to make the roof wide enough to form an extra 12 inches or so to protect the other side.

You can unhook the grass side and roll it back when the sun shines.

We use corrugated pvc roofing panels you can get at most big box stores like Menards. They are not expensive and will fit on your run. We screw ours down on the run roof with an overlap. Make sure you get the opaque kind not clear. Clear can be like a magnifying glass when the sun is bright amd make it to hot.
