Rookie chicken keeper here

Hello everyone @ BYC,
My family and I are new flock keepers. We have 7 (hopefully hens) 2 golden laces Wyandottes, 2 Buff orphingtons and 3 Easter eggers I think. We received them at 2 day old chicks and they are now just shy of 6 weeks. So far I think it’s going well with the exceptions...1 of the eggers is on the small side and has been getting constipated somewhat consistently and I’m starting to wonder if one of our Wyandottes might be a male ☹ I did only order 6 chicks from the hatchery so I’m guessing they added an extra bc maybe one couldn’t be sexed before shipping?

I currently have 2, 5 week easter eggers as well, and one of them is on the small side too. She seems just fine though. Also, roosters (in my opinion) are not a bad thing (unless they're illegal where you live). I have one Ameraucana rooster he's super sweet, he loves being held (even more then the hens, actually), and he protects the flock from predators too! Roosters also make watching your flock so much easier. If you're not sure, and you can have roosters, then cuddle him/her and give him/her a lot of love while he's/she's a chick! If you could post some pics of him/her we could try to confirm it's sex. And welcome to BYC!

Thanks for the warm welcome!! We are not allowed by law to have a rooster and I was also concerned it would be aggressive when my kids try to handle the hens. Here are some pics (I also posted them on another thread-this seems to be a common question!)
Any opinions/thoughts are appreciated!
