Hi all. We got our baby chicks today. 15 days old. They seem to be settling in just fine, eating and drinking. So, here is my first question as an official chicken owner - we have our chicks in a brooder in a heated workshop. I know to leave the brooder light on at all times, but what about the workshop light? Do you turn it off at night and on during the day or leave it on all the time?

Check them out!

They're so cute! As long as you have the brooder light on you can do whatever you want with the other light. If you keep the workshop light on during most of the day I would definitely turn it off at night. Have fun with your new chickies.
