Roos not hens

Help! I ordered 12 RIR pullets from a hatchery I’ve used many times. They are now all 17 weeks and I think they’re all roosters! I also have two roisters from a different source a week older who’ve been crowing for weeks and are clearly roosters. But now several of the RIRs are trying to crow. All have fairly similar combs, taller than I withdraw expect. And of course no eggs yet. How can I definitively tell if they’re roosters?

17 weeks is early even for hybrids but way early for a RIR to lay.

By the stated age for the breed in question.. saddle feathers should be telling a full story. Examples from google..

That's a dead giveaway, but RIR's males should have been obvious by 4-8 weeks by their larger redder combs/wattles.
