roos or hens....marans!

I hope that some of you can tell what I have in these photos of my marans. I hatched these from a wonderful breeder in texas. I think they are old enough to tell so any opinion is good. I have taken 2 pictures of each baby.

My guess is that the one with the tiny comb is a roo. Hard to tell which pics are of which bird.

I have taken 2 pictures of each chick. So starting with the cuckoo there are 2 pics of her and then so on.......

Well I knew it! That one with the big comb is the roo, but I wonder about the others...

I guess if they are "breeder" bird roos I can sell them right?
How much would someone charge for a black copper maran roo and a cuckoo roo?

Ok, here's what I think.

I think #1 is a cuckoo pullet.

I can't tell if the second one is blue or black, but I think pullet.

#3 is SO roo. Looks like Black Copper

#4 I say black copper pullet

#5 looks like a blue copper pullet

#6 the coloring looks just like my blue copper roo, but with a MUCH smaller comb... the jury is still out on this one.


When I come get the little NN baby, I'll tell you for sure what I think about #2... I just can't tell what color she is.

What did the breeder say?
