I think that the older Welsummer and the Light Sussex are both roo's not sure about the two others..
sorry some are sideways, they already took forever to load! ahh!

What makes you think the EE is an Roo? Just curious! So i can use criteria to sex future chicks!

It's just a pure guess since he is so young, but his coloring is very common in EE cockerels and it looks like he/she is getting a red patch on his/her shoulder already which is usually an indicator of a cockerel.

for a pullet though.

The colouring of the EE looks like a cockerel because of the red coming in on the wings. if it wasn't for those little patches, I would say pullet :/

The wellie will turn quicker than most IMO. I got 3 in March & it didn't take long to find out I had 2 roos and 1 hen. I agree that you most likely have a roo. As for the others I wouldn't guess.

I agree with the others...roo, pullet, roo, roo. The EE has really thick legs. Females have more dainty legs.

thanks for all the opinions!
The light sussex and the EE have been fighting a lot too, like they are doing in the last picture. So it makes sense that they both might be roo's.
