These are my daughter in law's, which gender are they or should I get better pics?

The first is definitely a cockerel. The second looks like it is probably a pullet, but need better pictures and its age to confirm.

I was pretty sure they were. I feel bad for my daughter in law, she was positive they were hens as chicks because the person selling them "sexed" them for her. Basically, they just wanted to make a sale.

Yes, a lot of people seem to have no scruples. I'm sorry she has to deal with this.
