These birds belong to my parents and the age might not be exactly right...any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

That first bird appears to be a silver laced Wyandotte, and if the age is correct I'm thinking male.
Second bird's not screaming rooster, but those black and white ones can fool you sometimes.....
Third bird is female.
Fourth bird looks female, but I'm not as positive as on the third bird. Can you get a closer comb shot?

Thanks for the help. I'll try to get a comb shot of the white one tomorrow. Any other angles that would help? Do you think any of them are actually Ameraucanas?? Thanks again!

If you did not source them directly from a breeder (not hatchery or farm store, etc), the chances are they are not Ameraucanas.

My dad got them from our local feed store so I guess we shall wait and see. I think they are pretty whatever breed they are. We aren't planning on breeding or showing them so it really doesn't matter as long as they are healthy and happy.

No, I don't think any are Ameraucanas, I do think you have some nice Easter eggers that will give you blue/green eggs. that's what most of us are looking for, anyway.

Agreed - we have three of these lovely little birds (I am in denial that one is a roo) in our brooder at the moment. I'm not too concerned about the actual breed, just looking for some interesting variety in our eggs.

My son is just hoping for some colored eggs. Right now my parents have a white leghorn and some RIR (we think) so we get a white egg and various shades of brown. It would be nice to have some blue/green eggs but eggs are great no matter what color :) thank you again for all your help. I am new to this site but really like it!!

This is another from the same group..I'm guessing not americauna...any guesses on sex?
