I have 8 pullet EE's. I suspect that I have a few roo's in the bunch, a little early to tell just yet, they are three weeks. My question: do roo's cause any problems to have with laying hens? Do they have any adverse effects on eggs or egg production if you collect the eggs daily and get them into the fridge?

No problems with the hens but will fight with each other as to who's the boss. A rooster is good to have to protect the flock. They are the first on to a fight, will die for their girls, helps to keep the hens in line and are always on watch for danger. I've heard that if there is no rooster, a hen will stop laying and take on the role of rooster.
