Roost problems

is it a normal behavior for my 9 week old rirs not to use thier inside roost at night. during the day they take thier little naps on the roost outside instead they ball up at the door to sleep at night. it is not from being to cold it stays warm here at night right now in idaho. how can i get them to use the roost.

When you got out in the evening, pick them up and put them on the roost. After a couple of days they will get up there on their own.
