Rooster? 🐓 / Also Cross Beak

I bought a few sexed female "Amerucanas" that are obviously Easter Eggers from Tractor Supply. Sexing is not always accurate so I was wondering what you think about these babes!!

Also, anyone know about caring for a crossbeak chicken? I hatched one and I've never had one.

They are 3 weeks old and a few days.

Im no expert and 3-4 weeks is super early...but the first pic looks cockerel to me.

ee are hard sometimes because they are generally mixed breed. I have a few that are 2.5 weeks and more that are 1 week and 4 that are 3 months. Wait a few more weeks.

1st one seems like it may be a cockerel but it’s really too early to tell.

For a crossed beak chicken you should read up on other threads, as lots of people have had that issue as well.

I agree that the first looks like a cockerel. I am on my second round of EE chicks and I’ve noticed the cockerels get a comb pretty early and the pullets (even when older) have almost none.

Thank you for the response. I know it's still early to tell but the combs are getting more orangy/pink by the day and the wattles are coming in and turning bright! So much for sexed hens haha
