Rooster? šŸ“ / Also Cross Beak

I had a cross beak little girl. She was wonderful. Her name was Mary ( after mary sanderson from hocus pocus lol).To make it easier for her to eat I put water in her mash. She grew a lot slower than her sisters. But she loved to be held and from what I understand most special needs chickens do. I sometimes would hand feed her because she never seemed to be able to get enough on her own. Nipple feeders work best for water. I only lost her because she had a bad habit of scooting under her sisters to sleep. They got too big and they smothered her.

I bought a few sexed female "Amerucanas" that are obviously Easter Eggers from Tractor Supply. Sexing is not always accurate so I was wondering what you think about these babes!!

Also, anyone know about caring for a crossbeak chicken? I hatched one and I've never had one.

They are 3 weeks old and a few days.

LOVE the name! Awww, sorry you lost her. She sounded very special. Thank you for the information, I know it will come in handy. šŸ’•
