I am startinga flock from chicks raising buff orpingtons & blue orpingtons. I have 1 rooster but golly gee whiz don't have a clue how old a roo has to be before he is active so to speak for reproduction ? can someone help me out. thanks

I would imagine a rooster would be fertile once he's been crowing a few months, at the minimum.
