I Have a Golden Buff Orp Rooster and What other breed of hen would be a good cross with him?Post Pics!

Oh Sorry.I am new to the Chicken World.So The buff Orpington.You know they Have Gold looking feathers.Sorry Again,Was that the wrong term?

And See I only want one rooster for 14 hens.So I would like a little variety of hens.So what breed other than Buff Orpington would be ok to cross.

ANYTHING you want! Orp roos are sweet and will take good care of your girls. Get whatever you feel is nessessary!

orp girls with a orp roo. they lay very well and if you ever want to hatch you can have true buff orp babies

Plymouth barred rocks and Rhode island reds would make good crosses IMO.

My Buff Orp rooster has been very prolific.

Buff Orp male with Barred Rock female produces a sex-link chick:

Male offspring:

Female offspring:

Buff Orp/Jersey Black Giant:

Orp/Rhode Island Red:

Orp/Golden Comet:

Orp/Easter Egger:

All his offspring have been big and calm, the Golden Comet cross it a great layer too.
