rooster attacked chick

he’s trying to groom himself right now, he’s super warm but shaking, could that be because of the damage or shock?

Looks to me like he could make a full recovery
he’s not able to stand on his own, he was eating by himself for 5 minutes but later got tired, hes able to twist his neck around but then tires out and droops down, his right side is swollen, left leg seems weak, right leg is extended and wants to get up, i hope he makes it!

That is a great improvement, but of course he will need more time for all the bruises and swelling to recede.

Keep up the good care! :thumbsup

ugh it pains me to see him like this but he’s still alive and going, i checked up on him a couple times at night, he pooped! i applied the ointment and gave him a tiny bit of aspirin and he was able to move more and seemed more aware of things, how often could i give him aspirin?
