any other suggestions on what to get for garbanzo?
i currently have on my list:

1. terry towels & paper towels
2. vitamin b & e
3. maybe wipes if i find some plain water based ones mainly for his feathers
4. puppy pads

anything else? any foods ?

I had a buff orpington rooster same age get wire neck. I gave him electrolytes, a women vitamin or something that has vitamin A and selenium, and egg yolk room tempature. I did that till he was ableto stand on his own and lift his neck with no problems.

As I live in Germany, I am not familiar with the assortment of goods at Walmart.
But some sand or earth from a fresh molehill will do just fine.

how often did you give him these? i was able to get my hands on some vitamin e in liquid form and b in little tablets, everything is scarce because of the snow and shipments in the stores can’t come in, i might have some vitamins at home i’ll have to check.

Please, take into consideration that this cockerel does not suffer from the usual wry neck syndrom caused by vitamin and mineral deficiency, and that overdosing vitamins can be harmful when the cause is different as happens to be the case here.

With receding of the swellings and bruises, the compression of the nerves will decrease also and he will regain his mobility.

i was thinking that too, i went and took a look and the vitamins were empty and the ones i was able to get from someone were expired so in the end i have no vitamins lol, thank you!

edit: i got water based wipes and some electrolytes in case i dont get water soon, turns out i got coconut flavored one
the puppy pads were gone and so were the towels so i got some microfiber ones from the car section

I gave him about a 1 1/2 teaspoons a day
