Rooster behavior?

Honestly every time he’s tried to fight me I just fought him right back (don’t hurt him or anything though) just like shove him with your legs a few times until he sees you as stronger than him. If you don’t want to be so violent or mean to the rooster I’ve heard spraying him with water every time he fights also works, but it didn’t work for me.

Yes, that’s what Matthew has done this afternoon and it seems to have worked because he went out later to open their coop door (it had blown shut) and the rooster behaved!! We’ll see anyhow. If he carries on tomorrow Matthew ‘ll just shove him again:rant

How old is he? If he's young, things likely will get worse. Human aggression shouldn't be tolerated, and is a real liability.
