The reality is, without enough space, two mature roosters will likely end up fighting. If you really want to keep him, I’d suggest building another coop and run to keep them in if you have the room to do so. If not, have a Plan B ready to use before putting them together because when it gets ugly, it often happens fast.

That was my back up plan. To have another run for just my silkies. I have a 10x10 catio that my cats don’t use that can be repurposed as a chicken run. So if the two don’t get along then plan B is to use the catio as the silkie run and keep Fuzzy in his run. I hadn’t planned to keep two roosters but I’m finding there is no real planning in keeping chickens.
