rooster behavior?

I have a 5 week old chick, who stands up tall, and is always making noise ( high pitched peeps ) when the other chicks are out of sight, even if its just one chick. It will sometimes chest bump my shoe. is this chick a rooster or is this just normal chicken behavior?

It's very hard to determine the sex of chicks without pictures. If you could upload some that clearly show the comb, profile, and head of the bird in question that would give us the information to better help you with the gender. The behaviors you asked about are normal for all chicks as far as I know.
