hi all, i was wondering if I should be concerned about my roo's behaviour? He is eating and acting normal but sometimes he shakes his head left and right a couple of times and goes back to eating. He has never done that before...

Another question about my hen, i'm not sure of the breed, but she's an all black medium sized hen, she's gained quite a bit of weight and is very healthy, but she is about nine months old without laying a single egg... my roosters have no interest in her... Is there something wrong with her? Do some hens never lay eggs?

any comments and suggestions are welcome.

I have a Buff Orp' Roo and he shakes his head like he has water in his ears. This is a new mannerism for him too. I going to deworm my flock, its that time of year, so that will rule out Gape worm or other parasites. I'll be glad to see others reply to this thread.

    Fair Winds,
