Rooster being eaten alive by maggots - Miss You Cloud!

Hoping so very much he's still alive and that he will get better. No bleach, vitamins are a must, hydration is a must, as is getting all the maggots off and also getting antibiotics into him immediately if not sooner (some vet somewhere will hopefully have the heart to issue to you, also check with wildlife rescue centers if any near by). Bless you for taking on the unpleasant task of getting maggots off him. If you have or someone can run and get for you Rescue Remedy (Bach Flower Remedy) put a drop or two in his water - may help with destressing him through all of this. If you can get the pet variety it has no alcohol in it and you can put a drop or two on favorite fruits and handfeed directly to him - hopefully he will take. Otherwise the other kind can be mixed with water. If you can have someone pick up good quality mealworms this nourishment may help him hang on....

Cloudy passed away this morning. He will be missed greatly. He was a Dominique with a kingly attitude and a huge vocabulary. He won reserve champion at a 4-H fair.

Now I am so afraid our other rooster is going to get sick too. he lives in the other half of the coop, so if Cloud had anything contagious, Luis may have been able to get it, too.
How likely do youthink it is that Luis would get sick?
