Rooster bleeding by "ear" wattle area?

Rooster is bleeding by that area. You can see the blood or reddish area on the feathers. I think he got a feather pulled. Is it always bald there? I've never played attention to that specific spot so Idk. When he has food or stuff on his face the girls like to clean him up (they act like a mother) so maybe one of them hit him in that spot by accident.

It looks as if the hens have been feather pecking/plucking there while grooming him. Very likely a pin feather got broken off and bled.
 
Update: it's been a while and it hasn't healed if anything it got a little worse. I think it was healing but one of them probably peck it agian and it was bleeding a little bit again. I am going to put on Blu-kote if that would be okay. I am doing it on a warm day so it doesnt freeze on him.
