Rooster breathing hard, runny nose

Hey all. I have a barred rosecomb rooster that is breathing hard, and has a runny nose with white snot. He needs antibotics, but everything is closed for the weekend. Any home remedies that will help him? I hate to see him feel bad!

What are you thinking is wrong with him that he needs antibiotics for? Antibiotics are only good for bacteria related illnesses, not viral illnesses.

Have you separated him from the rest of the flock?

I would add one Tbsp. of apple cider vinegar with the mother in it (I use Bragg's) per gallon of water at this point.

I am thinking that he has a cold, or CRD. This is what I would give the meds for. I always put ACV in all the waterers, so thanks anyhow! Is CRD viral?
