Rooster breed?

This rooster is my neighbors but since he has no other chickens he moved in! Now I have chicks! Just wondering what breed he is.

Hard to tell--is his comb dubbed or is it a rose comb? Might be a splash Wyandotte or a dubbed game-thing.

It's very short and flat.

Mixed breed bird, mixed enough no specific breed stands out. Myself, I think he's too heavy to be a game bird.
